भारत में प्रकृति से प्रेम का एक विशेष नाता हैं। माता भूमि पुत्रोअहं पृथिव्या:। अर्थात पृथ्वी हम सबकी जननी हैं एवं हम उसके पुत्र है। मनुष्य जन्म से ही प्रकृति की गोद में अपना विकास व जीवन व्यतीत करता हैं। इस धरती की चारों तरफ फैली हुई विशाल विविध घाटियां, हरीतिमा मानव मन को न केवल आनन्दित करती है अपितु उसे सुख समृद्धि एवं आरोग्य प्रदान करती हैं। प्रकृति के ताने-बाने में प्रत्येक जैव/अजैव अस्तित्व का उतना ही महत्वपूर्ण योगदान हैं जितना मानव अपना मानता हैं। इस जगत में असंख्य प्रजाति के स्पंदनशील चर एवं अचर प्राणी हैं जिनमें परमात्मा ने सर्वाधिक शक्तिशाली एवं बुद्धिमान मनुष्य को बनाया हैं इस नाते मनुष्य का यह कर्तव्य बनता हैं कि वह शेष जगत के कल्याण एवं समृद्धि के लिये कार्य करे। विश्व कल्याण मनुष्य की प्राथमिकता में होना चाहिए। पर आज परिस्थितियां विपरीत हैं। मानव यह सोचता हैं कि इस धरती की विपुल थातियों पर केवल उसी का अधिकार हैं; वह शेष जगत के रक्षण के स्थान पर भक्षण करने लगा हैं। अपनी गुण विशिष्टता के कारण मनुष्य को जैव जगत के प्रत्येक वर्ग का हितैषी बनना चाहिए। इस सम्पूर्ण ज...
